This Privacy Policy explains how Fuel Me, LLC (“Fuel Me”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website or use our fuel procurement platform. Together we refer to these as the Service.
Fuel Me provides a business-to-business fuel procurement platform. Our Service is intended for business use by people acting in a business capacity, and it is not directed to individuals under 18.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, business email address, phone number including mobile number, business address, company name, job role and account details, billing and payment information, tax exemption certificates, credit information used to set account terms, and the content of messages, support requests, and forms you send us.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, time spent, and diagnostic and log data. We also record how users interact with our portal, including pages viewed, clicks, and navigation, so that we can diagnose problems and improve the product. Password, payment, and other sensitive input fields are excluded from that recording.
Information about your orders and deliveries. Order details, delivery locations and site information, volumes and product types, delivery documentation such as meter tickets and bills of lading, and invoice and payment records.
Information from third parties. Information from our fuel vendors relating to your orders, from payment and credit providers, from analytics and marketing providers, and from services that help us identify the organizations visiting our website.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide, operate, and maintain the Service; to create and administer accounts; to process, coordinate, and fulfil fuel orders; to communicate with you about your orders and account; to process payments, set credit terms, and prevent fraud; to provide support; to improve, analyse, and develop the Service; to market our services to businesses; and to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
Where features of the Service use artificial intelligence to summarize information or answer questions, we do not use customer content to train artificial intelligence models. Where a third-party model provider processes a request on our behalf, that provider is contractually restricted from using your content to train its models.
3. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies for four purposes:
Strictly necessary, for authentication, security, and core site function
Functional, to remember preferences such as sign-in and language
Analytics, to understand how the Service is used and improve it
Advertising, to measure our marketing and show Fuel Me ads to business audiences on other platforms
We work with LinkedIn, Meta, and Google for advertising and measurement, with Google Analytics for website analytics, and with services that help us identify the organizations visiting our website so our team can follow up. Some of these place cookies or similar identifiers on your device.
You can manage cookies through the cookie banner on our website and through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service working.
4. How we share information
We share information with:
Fuel vendors, as needed to schedule, fulfil, and document your orders
Service providers who work on our behalf, including hosting, payment processing, credit insurance and financing, communications, analytics, and advertising providers, under contracts limiting their use of the information
Professional advisers, such as accountants, auditors, insurers, and lawyers
Authorities and other parties where required to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect rights, property, or safety
A buyer or successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets
Advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share online identifiers and usage data with advertising and analytics platforms for advertising and measurement, which some state privacy laws treat as a “sale” or as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time. See Section 8.
Mobile information is excluded from all of the above. See Section 5.
5. Text messaging and mobile information
Mobile Information means mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in data, consent records, and message history collected through our text messaging program.
Fuel Me operates a text messaging program that sends order and delivery messages, account follow-ups, delivery feedback requests, and account security codes to people who have opted in. Fuel Me does not send marketing or promotional text messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of information sharing stated in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. End users can opt out of further messages by replying STOP, or get more information by replying HELP. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
We share limited information with service providers only as needed to operate the program and complete your order, specifically our text messaging platform provider and the fuel vendor fulfilling your order. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers, opt-in data, or consent records to any third party for that party’s own marketing or commercial use, and we do not provide them to advertising or analytics platforms for any purpose.

6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. As general guidance, account and transaction records are retained for the life of the account plus up to seven years for tax and audit purposes; text messaging consent and opt-out records are retained for at least four years to demonstrate compliance; and usage and log data is typically retained for up to twenty-four months.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will retain the minimum record needed to continue honoring an opt-out you have made, and nothing more.
7. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
8. Your choices and rights
Everyone can:
Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it
Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
Opt out of text messages by replying STOP to any message
Manage cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings
Opting out of advertising. You can opt out of the sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising by using the Your Privacy Choices link in our website footer, by emailing support@fuel.me, or by enabling a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by law.
State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to correct inaccurate information, to delete information, to obtain a portable copy, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and to appeal a decision on your request. These rights and their exceptions vary by state, including for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island.
How to exercise your rights. Email support@fuel.me or call (833) 838-3563. We will verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent with proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact support@fuel.me and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date shows the most recent revision. If we make a material change to how we handle personal information, we will provide notice through the Service or by email before it takes effect.
